Web Site Support Service

Testimonials

St Patricks RCVA Consett, 29th November 2012

One of the best things we did was join the SLA for our School Website. The training to set it up was very informative, easy to follow and fun. The website itself looks very professional and is extremely easy to maintain, help is always at hand from the technicians who give fantastic support and advice when needed. Our school website is a great source of information for parents, governors, staff, pupils and the local community, displaying an ongoing record of life in our school. There is also an automatic link facility embedded in our website which displays unexpected events such as school closures, this is also very useful in getting the information out there immediately.

St Michael's CE Primary (25th March 2010)

This term, I have had the opportunity of working with Dave Brown to create a new school website for St Michael's CE Primary School. I was so impressed with the website service that I will also be using Dave's expertise to update and create a new website for Ox Close Primary School next term! The quality of training and technical support available through the SLA has been outstanding!

Thank you for the service to date.  We have been working with Dave Brown on updating our website and have found training clear and user friendly.  Also, information which we have sent for ITSS to put on to the website has been done so to a high standard.  Thank you!

St Chads Primary (11th January 2010)

I have found the WEB site SLA fantastic value and the training I received was excellent. The parents have made many complimentary comments about the website. They especially like the fact that they get to know on a weekly basis what their children are doing and learning at school and it saves on paper. Keeping the website updated is really easy and fun. If I have any problems, I know that all I have to do is email or pick up the phone and someone will give me the answer to the situation. The thing I like best about the website is that all the schools who join have the same layout and parents can negotiate around anyone they choose, simply and quickly. I also like the way you can just drop things off at ITSS and they will put the items on your website for you - this saves the school a lot of time.

Ramshaw Primary School (6th January 2010)

I'd just like to put on record our sincere thanks to the ITSS team for their excellent work. We asked for a very long video of our exchange trip to Tanzania to be put on our website in its entirety. The ITSS team responded magnificently and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. The whole video is there, it's wonderful and I know it took a great deal of creative thinking to get the task completed.

Again, genuine thanks for what proved to be a very, very big ask.

Kindest regards,

Dominic Brown

Woodhouse Community Primary School (15th December 2009)

The Web SLA is really advantagous. The team work hard with you to ensure that your needs are met, and the training they provide is excellent. Once you have had the training you are able to go and explore your schools website and everything falls into place. The website is easy to use, quick at uploading and should a problem arise the team are a phone call away who are happy to quickly advise.

Thank you for the work you have done on our website.  The photos you have added make our school look fabulous.  You have managed to highlight the good work that the children do and the changes we have made to our school and grounds.  The images in our gallery really bring our website to life and the 360 degree virtual tour is a fantastic addition.

Trimdon Village Juniors (6th November 2009)

Web SLA is very easy to use. The training / update sessions work very well allowing us to keep the website uptodate. Any problems I have encountered have been easily solved via a phone call to the content team.

The website is easy to maintain and update allowing me to be able to keep it relevent and up to date with minimal effort. Often only 3 to 4 clicks (max 10 mins) is needed to add an article. Materials can be archived for future reference and can be used as evidence for Ofsted in later years.

The children of Trimdon Juniors frequently comment on how they have been on their school website and enjoy looking at the photos of the different events in school. This also allows them to show their parents what has been happening in school.
